I met Alma only once and just this year, playing music for our village with daughter Barb. She seemed a lovely person and I know she was because she has such a fantastic daughter in Barb. Alma lives on through Barb and all her children, grandchildren and great grand children.

My family's condolences to all the Gouin kids and their families. Texts flew as soon as we learned of Alma's passing. She was an Oden family favorite! We all grew up attending St. Mark's and Alma was always there, singing, greeting, bowling, teaching, reaching out with all of her warmth, humor and caring. We will all miss her. I'm sorry we could not get to Ohio to attend her funeral. I will always remember that she braved the Pandemic to attend my mother's funeral. She was an outstanding human being and I'm sure God was smiling when she arrived!

I went to church with Alma. I haven't known her very long but she always made me feel welcomed every Sunday. I will miss our little chats. She was a ray of sunshine!

Sending deepest sympathy to the family. Will remember Alma for her beautiful generous spirit and friendliness. Alma always had a greeting for members of the HSB. Will miss her.

The staff of Putnam County Hospice sends our deepest sympathy for your loss. We will keep Alma and all her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers.

Alma was the first person I met and had a conversation with when I re-visited my old church, St Mark's UMC. She spoke of her husband as a POW in WWII as she raised her 3 children. Alma was such a gentle, sweet, strong lady, and will be greatly missed by everyone who met her. Rest in Peace, Alma. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ
