Obituary For Connie Jean Workman
Connie Jean Workman, 76, of Lima passed away at 3:50 AM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Lost Creek Care Center.
She was born on August 29, 1947 in Lima to Richard and Faye (Coon) Thompson, who both preceded her in death.She was married to the late Richard Workman and after his death she was preceded in death by her long time companion Ralph "Tennessee" Manier.
Connie enjoyed watching soap operas on T.V. and loved country music. She also loved all of her pictures and windchimes.
Surviving are her sons Ronnie "Dee" (Jill) Thompson of McGuffey and Troy Workman Jr.; her daughter Missy (John) Hageman; her grandchildren Andrew (Danielle) Thompson, Sarah (Joshua) Peters, Troy Workman Jr., Elizabeth Workman, Erica (Brandon) Chopin, Nayleen Hageman, Jake (Margarita) Hageman, Janet (Gregg, Jr.) Green, Mandy Hurley, Angel Workman, Tia Legg, BJ Workman and Rochelle Turner; her great-grandchildren Aleksander and Demi Thompson, Gabriel, Aerin and Elias Peters, Adrian and Gregg Jr. Green, Sandy and Eric Zimmerman, Corbin Green, Starla Jean and Caleb Turner, Azari Williams, Layla Puckett, Loki and Jayden Hageman; her great-great-grandchildren Amyah and Aydric Martin, Able Bowling; her sisters Faye (Rick) Cooper and Evelyn Keasler and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her step-children Richard (Sandy) Workman and Imogene Workman; her great-grandson Dennis Turner; her sisters Alberta (Joe) Allen, Viola Goodman, Violet (Kenneth) Gipson, Emma Jean (Lee) Spears and Naomi (Raymond) Shroufe; her brothers Robert and Richard Thompson; her brother-in-law Paul Keasler.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL, where the family will receive friends for 2 hours prior to the services from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Salvation Army or the purchase of wind-chimes to be displayed in her honor.
