Obituaries

Grace Louise Clingerman, 88, passed away at 10:54 pm, October 1, 2023 at Springview Manor Nursing Home.

She was born August 22, 1935 in Lima to Harold and Dorothy (Dennis) Clingerman who preceded her in death.

Grace was an office worker with Swift and Company, the Lima News, and the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a long time member of Pilgrim Holiness Church and a graduate of Lima Central High School in 1953. She dedicated her life to serving God and encouraging others to serve Him. Grace showed her love by having a card ministry for years never forgetting birthdays and anniversaries of her many friends. She loved growing flowers, painting by numbers, and collecting stamps and coins. She enjoyed birds and the simple things of God's creation.

Survivors include: a Brother, Virgil O. Clingerman of Lima; a Niece, Janet (Steve) Shuler of Van Buren; 3 Nephews, Jerry (Melva) Clingerman of Abingdon, VA, Ronald (Sue) Clingerman of Jackson, MI, David (Debra) Clingerman of Lima.

She was preceded in death by: a Brother, Roger E. Clingerman.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time of services at 11:00 am Thursday, October 5, 2023 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Rev. Don Nichols officiating, burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Christian School.
