Harold Nickles, age 85 of Lima, was reunited with his beloved wife, Judith on their anniversary, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his daughter's home with family by his side.

Harold was born April 1, 1938, in Mousie, KY, to the late Hubbert and Lucy (Wicker) Nickles. On November 7, 1959, he married the love of his life, Judith Ann (Hornaday) Nickles who preceded him in death on December 7, 2021.

Harold was Co-owner of the NBC Steering (Nickles Brothers Corporation), with his brother Don. He enjoyed attending garage sales, gardening, and racing. He was happiest when he was spending time at the racetrack and with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Aaron) Donaldson of Bluffton; ten grandchildren, Heather Paxton, Kodi Nickles, Seth Nickles, Malachi Nickles, Rhett Donaldson, Maeve Donaldson, Marek Donaldson, Keaton G. Howbert, Braxton A. Burkholder, and Greyson Burkholder; great-granddaughter, Alexandria Nickles; two brothers, Bartee Nickles, and Bethel (Judy) Nickels; three sisters, Dallie (Lowell) Thomas, Mary Lou (Larry) Rapp, and Goldie (Joe) Davis; four sisters-in-law, Eloise Nickles, Halie Nickles, Kathryn Nickles, and Shelia Nickles.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a son, Allen Lee Nickles; six brothers, Ralph (Shredo) Nickles, James (Flossie) Nickles, Hillard Nickles, Paul Nickles, Don Nickles, and Doug Nickles; and sister, Judy Bell.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Pastor Terry Brock will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, prior to the service at the funeral home.
