I will miss my sister very much. She was a good person and very caring to everyone. At least she is now with her mom, dad, our sister Bev and most of all her husband Tommie. I know that Tommie and Joyce would be aware of how we are all reacting to her passing. Joyce until we meet in heaven, bye and know that I do love you and will miss you! Say hello to our family! I love you all!

My wife and I were classmates with Joyce at Shawnee. While I did not know her well in high school, she has been a regular friendly contributor to our class facebook page always offering birthday greetings and other friendly posts. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family in this difficult time. Dave and Lydia Mefferd

Extremely sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. She was a friend, more late in life than at Shawnee, but she was still a loyal and compassionate friend. A class act! I will miss her a great deal.
