Condolences

To The Family of Kate Tepleton, I had the privilege of renting a room at Kate and Ted's home in Lakeside, Ohio during the West Ohio Annual Conference for the United Methodist Church. Several of us from Hope UMCin Whitehouse, Ohio rented rooms for at least 5 years or more. Kate was a gracious and hospitable person. We enjoyed long talks, playing board games, and meals together. I'm very honored to have become friends with Kate. She will truly be missed by friends and family. Our condolences go out to her family. Hugs and prayers are also being sent. With All Our Love, Mark and Melinda Hipsher.

I was an Aide at Primrose Retirement Community and every time I would help Kate out, she would appreciate how patient I was with her. She was so nice and gentle and I admired her and Ted's relationship. I love them both dearly and will pray over the family and friends that are affected by her passing. She made it home to be with the Lord. She's pain free now.

To Ted (and family) ... We are so sorry that you are grieving the loss of your mother. I remember Kate as such a vibrant person who was always so warm and welcoming when we visited her home in Lakeside. It's evident from her obituary that she extended that kindness to so many throughout her professional and personal careers — a testament to a life well-lived. Sending our love during this difficult time, and always.
