Obituaries

Kristan VanBuskirk, age 57 of Lima passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 5:20 pm, in Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born October 26, 1965, in Lima to John C. and Ann (Kasalis) VanBuskirk who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children: Tyra (fiancee Matthew Pack) Coil and Devin (fiance Emilee Hadding) VanBuskirk both of Lima; five grandchildren; and his siblings: Sherry (Tom) Krouse of Lima and Chuck VanBuskirk.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Kaylynn VanBuskirk, and a sister, Jody (Dan) Bales.

Kristan was a 1984 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He was active in martial arts, hold a 3rd degree black belt. He enjoyed throwing darts.

No services will be observed per his request.
