Obituary For Luana Sue Parker

Luana Sue Parker, 58 of Lima, passed away July 4, 2024, at her home.

Luana was born November 12, 1965 in Lima, to Robert E. McPheron and Gayle (Randall) Lyle; her father preceded her in death and her mother survives her in Lima. In August of 2016, she married James Parker who survives her in Lima.

Luana was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and she worked for many years in the cafeteria at Ford. She went on to work security at Proctor and Gamble until her retirement in 2019. Luana loved taking care of her house and she was always working on different projects. She loved her dogs and cats and they all held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her mother and husband, Luana is survived by her son, Chad Allen Halsell; grandchildren, Pierce Stacy and Riley Halsell; step-children, John (Rebecca) Knight, Joan (Shawn) Delbo, Scottie Parker and Jason (Jasmine) Parker; brother, Gary Lee (Nataliya) McPheron; sister, Amanda Christine (Timothy) Smith; nephews, Michael McPheron, Shawn McPheron and Timothy Smith, II and her close family friend, Cyndi Halsell.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES - SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Rev. Lori Wright to officiate the service.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
