Occasionally we spend a brief moment with a person who makes an impact on our lives. I met Marty at the funeral services for Phil Krouskop, sitting next to him and sharing our life stories. Again, at a reunion for Perry alumni and former staff, I bumped into him and we again visited. After these two brief encounters I realized I had made a new friend . I am sorry that my schedule does not allow me to visit Lima to honor his life in person - the world needs more Marty McCaslins - and today it mourns his passing. My sincere condolences to his family. Dear Sandy & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I only got to know Marty recently at the Senior Center & he was very nice & a fun guy. He shared his music tapes with the aquatic staff so we always had great 60's & 70's music to exercise to in the pool! Sandy & I were classmates in High School & we were able to get re-acquainted at the center also, & you could easily see what a loving couple they were, so happy together too!

Sandy Jen and Keith : You have been blessed to have such a sincere husband , father and friend that many unfortunates never have in their lifetimes. Marty always had me in stitches with his sense of humor. Stay strong and lean on each other and always remember that the family unit, ultimately is what matters. I am sure that you all now have the best guardian angel that is avail from our heavenly world. I am at peace that Marty did not suffer his last days in our world. See you in the next. -Natalie (RDH)
