Obituary For Mindy Adrene Von Deylen

Mindy Adrene Pellegrini Von Deylen, age 37 of Lima, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at her residence.

She was born June 4, 1986, in Lima, to Paul and April (Hooker) Pellegrini who survive in Lima. On October 17, 2015, she married Shane Von Deylen who preceded her in death on August 12, 2016.

Also surviving are her sons: Luke M. Von Deylen, Lincoln S. Von Deylen and Levi A. Von Deylen; her brother, Trevor L. Pellegrini of St. Marys, and her sister, Heather M. Pellegrini of Lima; grandparents, John & Adrene (dec'd) Pellegrini of Lima and Edward & Mary (dec'd) Hooker of Lima.

Mindy was a 2004 graduate of Shawnee High School and a member of Shawnee Band of One. She was a homemaker, a mother to her boys and enjoyed gardening. She was the founder of the "I'm sorry Brad Mondo" Facebook group.

An open house to honor Mindy will be on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. Her service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2024, with Deacon Fred Herold officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation, 202 North Ave #305, Grand Junction, CO 81501, a disease from which her husband died.

    Paul & April; I remember Mindy from SJ Masses of the past, a smart and wide ranging conversationalist with unique personality. I hope your grief is short and loving memories life long of the time you shared together. May she and her husband's souls be with Christ and her boys, your entire family apply her influence on your lives is a positive way moving forward. Keep the faith.

    I remember their wedding in their reception. The impression I got was they were very lucky in love sad news. I'm sure they are joining back up, but it still deepens the hurt in my heart for the young boys. Best regards, Robert Wrasman .
