Patricia Ann "Pat" Sharp, age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Defiance Hospice Inpatient Center.

Pat was born May 9, 1936, in Springfield, OH, to the late Lawrence and Iva (Boise) Mayer. On June 7, 1952, she married the love of her life, Robert Dean "Bob" Sharp who preceded her in death on August 30, 2019.

Pat was a graduate of Lima Central High School. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra J. (Delbert L.) Layfield of Millersburg, and Terri L. (Marty) Wagner of Defiance; three grandchildren, Jade (Sarah) Crossland of Napoleon, Melissa (Wade) Harris of Sherwood, and Dustin (Shayna) Crossland of Napoleon; eight great-grandchildren, Lane, Grace, Addilyn, Genevieve, Abby Grace, Camden, Gage, and Harlow, and a sister, Cynthia (Mark) Ellis

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Michael D. Sharp; two brothers, Joseph H. Mayer, and Thomas Davidson; three sisters, Ethel Davidson, Mary Warrens, and LuLu Hayes; two brothers-in-law, Jack Sharp, and Gene Sharp; and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Thompson

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
