Raymond C. Maehlman Jr., 85, passed away at 11:38 pm September 23, 2023 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born July 14, 1938 in Toledo to Raymond C. and Helen Elizabeth (Rossler) Maehlman who preceded him in death. On January 6, 1962 he married Linda L. (Allgire) Maehlman who preceded him in death on August 25, 2011.

Ray was a car salesman for several dealerships in Lima. He was a huge old car and train enthusiast.

Survivors include: a Daughter, Christine (Randal) Kohli of Lima; a Son, Jeff (Kala) Maehlman of Lima; Grandchildren, David (Elizabeth) Kohli, Michelle Lynn Kohli, Keaton Maehlman and Mason Maehlman all of Lima; Great-Grandchildren, Caurina Janev, Dominic Jay George Kohli, Amara Kohli, Anson Kohli.

He was preceded in death by: a Brother, Frank J. Maehlman; a Grandchild, Ashley Elizabeth Kohli.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am Saturday, October 7, 2023 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Father David Ross officiating.
