Obituary For Ronald L. Staley

Ronald "Ron" L. Staley, 83, passed away on September 23, 2023, at 7:46am, at his residence, with his loving wife.
Ron was born December 12, 1939 in Lima, OH, to Harold and Donagrace (Swank) Staley who both preceded him in death. On April 24, 1957 he married Patricia "Pat" Staley who survives in Lima, OH.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Kessen) Staley and his children Gerry (Deb) Staley of Neptune, Don (Marieta) Staley of Washington State, Kathy (Cindy) Staley of Mendon and Jim (Diana) Staley of Neptune. His daughter Cindy Spencer preceded him in death.
Also survived by his sister Shirley Amstutz and a brother that preceded him in death Leonard Staley.
He had 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Ron retired from Scot Lad/ Roundy's and Staley's Carry Out after many years in Harrod.
Ron and Pat loved Florida where they were snowbirds and met many friends. His favorite teams were the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Ron greeted everyone with a smile!!!
Visitation will be on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
A private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, The Auglaize Historical Society or Harrod Fire Department.
