Obituary For Steven Anthony Hullinger

Steven Anthony Hullinger, 83, of Elida, passed away at 5:22 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at The Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Sept. 4, 1940 in Lima to Robert and Mary (Niedecken) Hullinger, who preceded him in death. On June 10, 1961, he married Marcia Anderson Hullinger, who survives in Elida.

Steven retired in 2001 as a supervisor for Ford Motor Company at the Lima Engine Plant. He was a member of Believers Christian Fellowship Church, where he was very active, serving as the Treasurer and Office Manager for over 20 years. His hobbies included Mustangs and reading, especially about WWII.

In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, Marcia Hullinger of Elida are their children: Julie Anne (Jim) Crook of Elida, Daniel Andrew (Jodi) Hullinger of Troy, Laura Elizabeth Hullinger of Nashville, TN, John Steven (Karessa) Hullinger of Grass Lake, MI, James Asher (Jeannie) Hullinger of Elida and Anna Leith (Brian) Balogh of Elida, fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Believers Christian Fellowship Church, 1695 Stewart Road, Lima, Ohio 45801, directed toward DR Congoaid International.

    I know there is sadness but after talking to you John, I know you all have peace in knowing your dad is having a homecoming. What a blessed assurance!
