Thomas Otis Contos Snider, 48, passed away on September 7, 2023, at 6:04 pm, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center.
Thomas was born March 11, 1975, in Lima, OH, to Harold "Terry" and Gloria (Contos) Snider who both survives in Lima, OH.
Thomas graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1993. He was a welder and material handler at Setex Inc. in St. Marys, OH for over twenty-three years. Thomas loved golfing and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, Denver Broncos and Anaheim Angels. He also enjoyed going to Limaland and watching various races. Thomas was a member at Faith Baptist Church, where he was very active as the Sunday School superintendent. He also cooked various meals for the Men's Prayer Breakfast.
He is survived by his father, Harold "Terry" Snider of Lima, OH, mother, Gloria J. Snider, son, T., Jr. Snider of Lima, OH, siblings, Terri (Edward) Mason of San Antonio, TX, John Paul Contos Snider of Lima, OH, aunts and uncles, Patricia "Pat" Snider of Lima, OH, Rita Snider of Bluffton, IN, Sharon Snider of Fort Shawnee, OH, Carol Snider of Lima, OH, and Judi (Ron) Morrison of Cario, OH.
He is preceded in death by his uncles, Bob Snider, Richard Snider, Larry Snider and John Snider.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11:00am at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Pastor Tim Cooper to officiate the service.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
